I disagree anon14692. Having a background expands a story. This story though, is of a specific, personal memory. This story is about a specific place and time.
Really think back to an awesome personal experience. Do you remember what sign was showing on the door behind you? Probably not; it's probably a blur like the rest of this picture is white or blanco.
