(this was related in my head somehow orz)

People have rather straightforward answers prepared for the question, "Who are you?"

It's almost a reflex. I'm a boy. I'm a girl. I'm a student, a worker, an artist, a dreamer. Trendsetter, go-getter, lover, thinker.

Names are a big one. Well no wonder, it's what we've been raised to think represents us as we are, right? It's not a big surprise, though, that the title that distinguishes us from other people really means nothing at all, it's just that.

And the labels, all of the other goddamn labels that people surround themselves with like layers of an onion. When the layers are peeled back, what remains in the center?

Really, who are you?
