I may not know japanese but by the looks of it he saw himself in the mirror and saw how badly drawn he was and he is heaven facing God's house saying ″WHYYY!!!″

actually that is from pokemon mystery dungeon. That tower right there is Temporal tower, and that looks like when you, the main char kinda dies and your partner leaves all depressed and sad.
