You can make either 3D games or 2D &3D games, what I've learned is that to make them you'll have to learn action script(flash), HTML 5 and even coding and even a program called Unity3D to make it work, but my career is not only making video games, it also involves in audio production using pro programs like Proppelerhead REASON, Ableton, etc.

Video editing using Adobe premiere, photo remasterization and editing using Adobe photoshop, character design, cartoon animation, photography, learning how to make a script in order in making a movie based on that script, construc and redesign websites that are awful at first glance and so on.

One last thing i forgot to tell is that the computer that you need for this it needs the following requirements for laptops ONLY:
-4GB of RAM (more is better)
-500 GB of HDD (SSD is better)
-Nvidia GE Force GT650 of of 512 MB or 3GB of GPU (graphic processor unit)
-intel i5 or i7 processor
and most important the screen needs to have 15" to 17" inch size

and I'm looking forward to upgrade the HDD of my macbook pro (2012) by the end of this year

Going through a self discovery series called "Chazown" and I realize that though teaching would be fun, I'm horrible at reading without pictures or diagrams; or leader and I don't like the spotlight; or musician and I haven't been in a coral or Orchestral setting in more than five years... This is all just a bit confusing.

Yesterday, I was reading and came across a passage in a romance novel where the girl is all hyped up and impatient to see her guy. He's out working somewhere and comes back home late and in the mood for some loving. He calls to her and they have a small argument about how she's given up before he got home and doesn't want any romance, just going to sleep. The guy leaves a love mumento at her door and leaves. She finally finishes whatever, gets dressed, goes to the door and finds the mumento.. she narrarates that her heart pounds for him.
This is confusing to me.- One moment cold and apathetic and a second later her heart is pounding? Two ladies said that the woman in the story changed her mind.
Ladies or gentlemen, do you really have that much control over your physical reactions and emotions that a simple choice can alter your physical state and emotions?

Can you alter your mood by choice?
I don't understand. If some one wrecks your car, it's near impossible to be calm. You may act calm, but that doesn't keep your heart from racing and adrenylin from getting you hyped up.
Or how about getting pulled into ypur boss' office for a talk about how you might've been caught with illegal material. You wouldn't be calm then, you'd be defensive and your nerves might cause some sweating, redness, and such.
Or how about being surprised with free tickets to go with your friend to that dream convention or beach, all travel and housing paid? You'd be uncontrollably excited, right?
Let's think of an even more similar scenario to the story...
You've had a long week with overtime. All day long, you are calling your friend/coworker to come help you and you want to play Touhou with them after work. They never leave another department and never contact you. Late that night, after overtime, you go home. You're going to bed and your friend shows up to take you to a Dungeons and Dragons role play session.... Does your heart leap or cry?

I suppose it has to do with the kind of person you are. Certain feelings and behavioral patterns occur as a result of the secretion of neurotransmitters. Whether or not if they do, depends on the person's tendancy or preference to react a certain way to external stimuli. This 'preference' is determined by other various external and internal stimuli that have been occuring in the person since birth, such as parental observation, conditioned learning, unconditioned learning, internal predisposition to certain neurotransmitters as a result of genetical inheritance, etc.

Altering mood (feelings) by choice is something that I haven't really thought about. I don't think it is possible to do so. But it is possible to change REACTIONS to feelings. The best example I can think of is in the case of anger management, in which one can feel anger and rage. Suppose a person is playing a game of chess. It would appear that this person is in a bad position early in the game, having lost already a Queen as a result of poor choices. As a result, (assuming, of course this person is quite vulnarable to anger) this person gets angry at the current state of affairs. The person feels this anger regardless, but it is the reaction which makes all the difference. This person ca let the anger control his actions and either ragequit the game or let the anger cloud his jundgement in effectively devising a plan in order to win. Or this person can simply use the anger in order to redouble his efforts in the match.

El_Taco, thank you for all the info! Sorry, I'm just now remembering to reply. "How we choose to act during our times of emotional anger" --that's spot on!
Thank you for the post!

Lately, I've been thinking about going into retail. The place I'm thinking of getting a job at is a nick-knack shoppe. It is out of the way, so there's mild traffic through there and you get an apron to look official.

What is working the sales counter(aka register, aka cashier) like?
