kemono tag
Kemono is the Japanese word for anthropomorphism related to animals. Considering styles, there is a marked difference from western 'furry' and Japanese styled 'kemono.'
What are some thoughts on introducing this tag? This tag exists, however there are currently only thirty-eight images tagged as 'kemono' that are true to the description.
I can think of a two right off that haven't been tagged kemono, but are: Bagi_(monster_of_mother_nature), Chaloan.

Things that have been tagged as 'furry' basically go against the principle that Safebooru and affiliated contributing sites(Sankaku, Danbooru, Gelbooru, and Pixiv) are Japanese based and therefore regulate mostly in Asian and Asian-pacific content.
Thoughts on this?

Well, since we already delete all western content (or try to) ; you basically advice to change the 'furry" tag for "kemono" which is more accurate ?

Sure, why not? But my thought on it is leave the 'furry' tag accessible as a means to an end to alert attention to the bad post. Some one might try to say that the lack of furry tag means approval of furry equating to kemono. But they don't equate. If the 'furry'tag is left in the pool, it reinforces the differences in that word and the differences in the word 'kemono.' That's just my two cents.
I'm on here a lot. I can help edit qualified kemono pictures to be tagged correctly.
