I was stunned (if not slightly shocked) that he's the son of Orochimaru. Most of us in the Naruto community are pretty sure he's most likely the product of some scientific experiment, one fan even theorized he might be Kabuto's son. And there's speculation he might become a future enemy based on the "apple does not fall far from the tree" theory trope. I give that theory a 40% chance.
