This is a VEB Sachsenring Trabant (production from 1957-1991). The car was manufactured in East Germany and the Trabant (meaning satellite in German) was VEB Sachsenring's answer to Volkswagen's Beetle. The model above is a third generation Trabant dubbed the Trabant 601 (produced from 1964-1990, the car's design stayed relatively unchanged up to the end of production). Interestingly enough, the car (Trabant 601, 1975?) was rated by Time magazine as one of the worst cars of all time. www.time.com/time/special...5_1658533_1658030,00.html

I really like this picture, it seems so surrealistic, but realistic enough where I feel I can pass by such an event and be completely taken back by the workings of the universe.
