Ohh... my lord this is beautiful.
Miraculous job on the shadows, and giving the path some bumps rather than it being a perfectly flat land was a great idea (if intentional. If not, it's still awesome.)

Honestly, I don't care much for the character.
That's just me though, and I'm talking mostly about the environment, as you can plainly see.

A few things I noticed...
The water seems.. a bit too reflective, and the shadows aren't casting correctly on them (or so I think).
Anyways, great job.
If this were a higher resolution, it'd DEFINITELY be my background right now. c:
