The car is a classic Mini. There is quite a bit of complicated history about Mini as a marque and manufacturer. I suggest looking it up on Wikipedia if there is any interest. The classic Minis were produced by British Motor Company (BMC) from 1959 until Mini became its own marque in 1969. As such, the first generation of Mini cars were marketed under the marques of Austin and Morris names. The car above is a Mini (Mark I), or first generation noted by the visible door hinges which were done away with by Mark II. Apparently, this one was marketed under the name Morris Mini Traveller.
