Besides, people who don't want to see children wouldn't want to see thousand-year-old girls who LOOK like children, either, and the same goes for people who DO want to see pictures of children. That's what tagging is for, to help people find or eliminate images from their results.

That has an inherent problem, Anon2. Depending on the style of the artist, any character can look like a child. How would you differentiate between things like that?

^That may be, but the policy is still "tag what you see, not what you know" on every booru I've ever seen, including the boorus Safebooru gets a large number of its images from.

This means that those tags will come over with them, because they were tagged as such due to the policy.

It can be difficult to differentiate, which is where user discretion comes in.

In the case of the image, the subject absolutely looks like a child, and should, under "tag what you see", be tagged as such.
