Can anyone tell me why neither Remi nor Flan are burning to ash even though the sun's shining through the windows?

Either stained glass windows remove the burning effect out of sunlight. They're the older kind of vampires where sunlight doesn't really do anything except diminish powers or does nothing. They could be wearing powerful sunblock. Magic. Yukari is fooling around again. Eirin's shady new drug. Pick one.

I believe it's made clear that they don't like sunlight, not that it actually harms them.
