The car is a version of the first generation Suzuki Swift in production from 2000-2006,2008. It is the Sport version which had a shorter production window from 2003-2005.

The name HT81S refers to the M family engine the vehicle utilizes, in this case the 1.5L version. The car was known in other markets other than Japan as the Suzuki Ignis.

Chevrolet also derived their first generation model of the Cruze from 2001-2008 on the Suzuki Swift and was later re-branded as a Holden under the Australian market and as a
Subaru under other markets. To make matters a tad more confusing the derived version of the Swift, the Cruze, was re-branded once again as a Suzuki Swift in European markets. Ack, that's why it was difficult to find the right pictures.
